wow necro class fully banned
firts of all anet i must congratulate you on the updates you made on the game, the new system really rocks.
sadly i must tell you that from all updates you made there is only one update i was not expecting the SS scatters i never saw that coming.
I agree with the nerfing of spirit bonding its way to strong but the ss was in some cases the basic build for farmers the team build up consisted of a ss necro, now you fully banned the necro class. can you tell me what type of necro can we still play the MM is not that good any more, blood was never good so i guess the necro class will become just like a sin class a mule in our acounts.
Can you imagine the effect of this nerfing in GW economy i already see ecto price is 8.5k and it will continue to go up.
Ohh and like i say i really like all the other updates you made to the game nice work.

Well about 1/4 of the other necro spells cause some AoE damage, and so currently the enimies just start running all over the place...

lol me too...
also is MMing that bad? My Minions rarely ever attack the same target, if anything most of them either come back to me or arrgo another mob.
I was going to find out but I'm still going solo with my SS...apparently I'm unaffected by this "nerf".

easy, use hex to degen, play like you're playing pvp.
degen build or spike build.
Imagine playing pve like you playing pvp. That's fun

Dervishes cause scattering with every attack... Didn't see THAT coming...
Anyway, FoC spikes will still be there, a long with support damage from skills like OotV and OoP. You can BiP and use a well build.
There's still stuff for the necromancer to do, don't worry. It just isn't very unique that's all...

Necros have a few serious spells that are now, or were previously considered AoE, however,SS was not one of them. The Crown jewel of Curses has been cursed with the runaways.
You'll live through it, just like the Eles lived through the Great AoE Bombshell.

I dunno, SS for me works better now than before the "nerf"
right after the update i was echoing SS + reckless and desecrate left and right. Maybe it just looked like I was doing more damage because the damage numbers are huge in size now lol. But I was killing groups of 2 patrols before our eles managed to get some of their meteor showers cast
I kept expecting them to run too.. maybe they died before they could

I went on a FoW run right after the update and did my usual echo SS and really did not notice much of a difference. I let the warrior setup and hold the aggro and they dropped as they usually do.

if you think blood is bad, you've never played with a decent necro.
the whole problem is people like you (most players, that is) get used to certain cookiecutter builds, and hwo they work, and so dont recognize a truly good build when they see one.
for general combat use, a good blood necro can match the damage output of an ss nec, while being able to maintain themselves more easily, and playing a more important role supporting allies...not to mention blood necs are easier to hoard energy with, and distribute it using blood ritual if its needed.
personally, i will take a blood nec over an ss nec almost any day.
SS has its uses as far as aoe damage is concerned, but its less versatile and FAR more vulnerable to running low on energy.

This is humerous, SS banned? Necros banned? I think not...
It's more like....all AoE banned in PvE.

There is more than one way to play any character in this game.
Go check out the Necromancer forum here if you need a little help.
